So he gets down on one knee and the moment you have always dreamed of as a little girl is now here! Congratulations on your engagement! You and your fiance are on your way to a new life together. But now it’s time to think of your big day. Where to begin?! You know that you want something romantic and different than what’s out there, on the other hand he loves golf, baseball, basketball and just cares about having fun at his wedding. So how do you bring both of your ideas and personalities together on the most special day of your life?
It’s important to remember that after you pick a date, you first have to come together and decide on a reception site that will fit your vision both functionally and that also expresses your personalities.
Some questions to keep in mind before you begin looking for a venue.

Some questions to keep in mind when thinking of your personalities. Where did you meet? If you met at the park, perhaps having a garden themed wedding. What you like to do for fun? Do you like to go to the lake or the beach. Consider having teals and blues in your color scheme and decor. Maybe a red, white, and blue Nautical themed wedding. Does he like to play golf or smoke cigars? Perhaps, having a cigar specialty station or having some nice golf themed escort card table.
